SwiftScan Scanning Guide
SwiftScan makes it easy to scan documents with automatic edge detection and high-quality image enhancement. You can scan a single page or multiple pages, then save or share your documents in just a few taps.
Scan a Document
- Open SwiftScan.
- Position your document within the camera view.
- SwiftScan will automatically detect the document borders and, if Auto Capture is enabled, capture the scan automatically. You can also capture the scan manually by tapping the Capture (circle) button.
- Review the scanned page and make any adjustments if needed.
- To scan multiple pages, tap Add Pages and continue scanning. When you are finished, tap Save.
Manual Capture
If you prefer not to use Auto Capture, you can manually scan a document at any time by tapping the Capture (circle) button at the bottom of the screen.
Disable Automatic Capture
If SwiftScan captures scans too quickly, you can disable Automatic Capture by tapping the Automatic Capture button in the toolbar (the 2nd button from the right).
Use Photos from Your Photo Album
You can also create a document using photos stored in your device's photo library.
- Tap the + button from the document list to enter scan mode.
- Tap Import.
- Select one or more photos from your photo library to create a new document.
Once enabled, you can select images from your photo album and convert them into scans.
Additional Settings
Additional scanning options are available from the toolbar.
- To enable or disable the Flash, tap the Flash icon in the toolbar.
- To access additional scan settings, tap the 2nd icon from the left in the toolbar.
Your scanned documents are automatically processed to improve readability and can be edited, saved, or shared after scanning.
