  • Be sure to cancel on time: Not every app will suit your needs, so if you realize an app isn't right for you, remember to cancel the trial well before it ends. This way, you won't face any unexpected charges. Typically, app stores like iOS App Store and Google Play Store require cancellations at least 24 hours before the trial's scheduled end date. It's crucial to always check the purchase amount displayed on this screen before confirming a transaction. In some cases, this vital information might not be immediately visible.

To avoid surprises, you can set your iOS device to always display a purchase confirmation screen. This feature adds an extra layer of security and awareness, especially when finalizing app purchases or subscriptions.

  1. Open Settings: On your iOS device, navigate to the main 'Settings' menu.
